General Rules and Regulations

By submitting your participation in the Giveaways.cards contests, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the terms and conditions, and meet all eligibility requirements.

The Giveaways.cards contests are open to all persons who are at least 18 years old at the time of registration. Employees of Giveaways.cards, the parent company, its subsidiaries, affiliates, affiliated companies, advertising and promotional agencies, distributors, and merchants involved and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate or win.

Contests are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Offer null and void wherever prohibited by law. No purchase is required to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

How to participate

To enter the draw, follow the instructions on how to complete and submit the online registration form (primary mean of participation).

You may have an additional entry to win by sharing the contest with a friend who is at least 18 years old, and following the additional entry instructions (secondary means of entry).

The referred friend must participate via your referral link for you to benefit from this additional chance to win. All entries must be received before 00:00 a.m. on (contest end date) (« Contest Entry Period »).

Participants are subject to all notices posted online, including, but not limited to, the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

Prizes to be won and approximate retail value of the prizes

Maximum approximate retail value of all prizes: $2,000. The prizes to be won are gift cards for different shops. If the winner cannot receive his/her prize, he/she will be disqualified from the contest and an alternate winner may be selected in accordance with these Official Rules from among the other eligible entries for this prize.

Prizes may only be transferred or assigned by the Sponsor.

The winner grants to Giveaways.cards a royalty-free right to use and/or sell any content derived from the recording.

Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the contest Entry Period.

What follows applies to the above

All eligible entries received will be randomly drawn to elect the winners. A random draw will be held on or about (end date of contest) by a representative of the Sponsor whose decisions are final. Winners will be notified by email and/or mail and, at the discretion of the judges, they will be required to complete and return a confirmation by email of acceptance of the prize and possibly an affidavit of eligibility and liability and a press release, 7 days after notification or an alternate winner will be selected.

The prize shall be awarded within 30 days of receipt and verification of the affidavit or press release or notification of the prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, or if the Affidavit is returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or if his or her participation does not comply with the Official Rules, the prize may be awarded to another winner. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless considered a minor in his or her state of principal residence, the prize will be awarded in the name of the winner’s parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute the affidavit on behalf of the minor. No substitutions are permitted unless the prize is not available, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. The prize is not refundable in cash and non-transferable, except for a surviving spouse. The winner is responsible for all federal, state, local and income taxes. All other incidental and prize related expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes authorization to use the winner’s name, the prize won, his or her hometown and similar for commercial and advertising purposes without any form of compensation, within the limits provided by law.

Limit: one prize per household. The awarding of the prize is guaranteed. If the Giveaways.cards goes bankrupt or is no longer in operation, the year in which the company ceases to operate will be the last year of payment for the premium service. If the Giveaways.cards is acquired or merged, it is the responsibility of the new owners to continue to pay for the premium service.

If the Giveaways.cards goes bankrupt or ceases to operate, the last year of activity will be the payment of the premium service. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

Entrants accept these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates and all other companies involved in this Contest, as well as their employees, officers, directors and agents, from all claims and liabilities relating to their participation, acceptance and use or misuse of the prize.

The winner assumes all liability for any prejudice or damage caused, or deemed to have been caused, by participation in this contest or the use or exchange of the prize. The Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in printing the offer, administering the contest or announcing the prize.

The winner acknowledges that the Sponsor and all other companies involved in this Contest and their representatives do not make, nor are they in any way responsible for any warranty or representation, implicit or explicit, factual or legal, regarding the quality, condition, market value or any other aspect of the prize.

In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the « authorized account holder » of the email address used at the time of entry.

The authorized account holder refers to the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Participation documents/data that have been falsified or modified, multiple participations, participations generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices are cancelled.

The sponsor is not responsible

(i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or incomplete entries; or

(ii) an error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to registration documents; or

(ii) an error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or modification of the registration documents or for technical failures of any kind, or for the inaccurate transmission or failure of the sponsor or participant to receive registration information due to technical problems or congestion on the Internet or on any website or combination of the foregoing; or

(iii) any injury or damage to the entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from his/her participation in the Contest. By entering the Contest, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sponsor and the independent judging organization, which are final and binding in all cases and with respect to this Contest.

Failure to comply with these official rules may result in disqualification from the competition.

The Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify and sponsor any entrant from the Contest in violation of these Official Rules and to cancel the Contest if the entrant becomes technically corrupt (including if a computer virus, bot or system malfunction irrevocably compromises the ability of the entrant to conduct the Contest). And to choose the winner from among all eligible entries received before the contest closes.

Legal warning: any attempt by any person, whether or not he/she is a participant, to deliberately damage, destroy, alter or vandalize this website OR interfere with the operation of this contest, constitute a violation of civil and penal law and the sponsor reserves the right to claim damages to such person and will diligently use all remedies available under the act to remedy the situation.

Arbitration

This contest is submitted and must be interpreted in accordance with the laws of your country. Regardless of any potential conflicts with the provisions of the act.

By entering, participants agree that any dispute arising out of or in any way related to this contest will be brought only before the courts in the country where the contest is held.

List of winners

The winners are announced the day after the end of the contest.

Confidentiality

By entering your information, you will only be subscribed to the Giveaways.cards newsletter. Your data will not be sold to anyone. You can easily unsubscribe from the Giveaways.cards by clicking on the « unsubscribe » link at the bottom right of our emails. The information you provide to enter this contest is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy.

Personal information collected from each entrant during the contest will be used by the Giveaways.cards to administer the contest and in accordance with the company’s privacy policy Giveaways.cards reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time. This contest is not sponsored, supported or administered in any way by the gift card companies. You understand that you are providing this information to the Giveaways.cards.
